The Money and Pension Services has appointed Clean Slate Training & Employment to deliver the Financial Wellbeing Forum for Mid and South Wales
We’re excited to announce that Clean Slate Training & Employment has been awarded the contract by the Money & Pensions Service (MaPS) to run the Mid and South Wales Financial Wellbeing Forum for the year ahead.
The Wales Financial Wellbeing Forum was developed by MaPS to strengthen skills, knowledge, and confidence across the financial wellbeing and money guidance sectors. The forums bring together practitioners, specialists, managers, and strategy and policy leads to create collaborative, localised learning communities.
We will deliver four events across Mid and South Wales over the next year, drawing on our frontline money guidance experience, strong professional network, and successful webinar collaborations with MaPS Wales. Through these forums, we aim to strengthen Wales’s community network and help influence improved financial wellbeing outcomes for Money Guidance customers in the region.
About the Forums
Wales is divided into three regions for forum delivery, with Clean Slate managing the Mid and South Wales region. This allows members to choose their forum based on the local resources and services in their area.
Two events will be held in person, including a collaborative event uniting all three Welsh regional forums, while the other two will take place online. Each event is designed to be interactive and engaging, fostering networking, best-practice sharing, and collaborative problem-solving.
The first online event is set to launch this Autumn. For more information or to get involved, contact Lisa at lisa.woodman@cleanslateltd.co.uk.
The Quids in! Professional Network is dedicated to ending hardship and poverty across the UK by uniting professionals who share this mission. Quids in! Pro operates in parallel with Quids in! Money Guidance, our programme of support for low-income households run and delivered by Clean Slate Training & Employment CIC.
