From the start of April 2020, Quids in! formally joined our sister project Clean Slate Training & Employment CIC.

What the changes mean is that Clean Slate, which was set up by Quids in! founder Jeff Mitchell two years before our money skills initiative, will consolidate both organisations’ programmes. Where Clean Slate used to be about employment support, training and opportunities for vulnerable people, it is now about helping everyone on low incomes to become better off. It supports people to develop their money skills, improve their employment prospects and get online. Its local teams in London, Bath and Gloucestershire have become ‘Quids In Centres’ and the social enterprise aims to open more in the coming months.

Quids in! will continue to publish its quarterly magazine and monthly money email, its guides to Universal Credit and new tenancies and quidsinmagazine.com.
